This summer was full of FUN! We started the summer off with Aunt Sam graduating from the University of Texas. Then we took some time off and went to Lubbock. While we were there Zak’s family came down form Canyon to see us. Couper had a great time playing croquet with Ninnie and eating pecans with Mack. Shug and Couper made beautiful caulk art and had a bouncing good time. Boss and Couper played outside and did a little wrestling. What a great summer!

Farm Fun-Birthday Party!
We had a BLAST petting and feeding all of God’s wonderful animals at Caden’s Birthday Party! Zak and Couper’s favorite animals were the baby ducks. Couper tried so hard to touch the goose but the goose didn’t want to be touched. It kept giving Couper “The Look” and the pony would nibble on Couper any chance it got. At the end of the party Couper asked us if he could take home a baby bunny. I think we have a little Noah of our own!!!
Then God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind—livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.” And that is what happened. God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to produce offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.

Laughter Is Good Medicine For The Soul!
Do you ever have days where you feel down, empty and your soul needs something? The Bible says you need a good laugh!
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
-Proverbs 17: 22
The sound of roaring laughter is far more contagious than any cough, sniffle or sneeze. When laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness and intimacy. It is proven that your body needs laughter. Even the medical field is in agreement with the Bible that a merry heart is good medicine. When you laugh your brain releases endorphins. These endorphins are nature’s natural pain killers. It is proven that laughter relaxes the skeletal system, lowers blood pressure, regulates the heart-rate, strengthen your immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain and protect you from the damaging effects of stress. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free and easy to use. So I hope you take time to laugh today!
