Below you will find the things we are praying for right now as well as things that we are giving God praise for. As always, if you have a prayer request, please let us know and Pastor Zak will pray for you.

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-The Ripe field! Our area is ripe and ready for the harvest. Demographics show that over 65,000 people within 6 miles of our ground zero point do not attend a church.

-Our Launch team- God is putting together an incredible launch team already!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-Musician Connections. Pray that we will make connections and meet musicians! We are praying that God will put together an incredible worship team!

-Courage! Pray for our launch team members that they would have courage to share Christ and to meet people everywhere they go!

-Life Change! Pray that we would be able to lead several people to Christ before our first preview service and then Baptize those people at our first preview service.

-Provision. We still need funding to get chairs, sound equipment, nursery equipment, and more. You can help two ways with this: first, PRAY! Second, if you have any equipment or would like to help us purchase some, please let us know.

-Leaders. Pray for the leaders of our church. Also pray that we’d be able to meet other leaders in the community and create an environment that fosters healthy leadership development.

-Launch Team. Please continue to pray that we’d have 40 adults who’d be committed to launching this church with us. We know that God has more people out there who need to be on this team. Pray that we’d find them!

-In the last verse of Luke ch. 2, the Bible tells us that. “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Please make that your prayer for Pastor Zak as well as our entire team. Pray that we would grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men!

-Pray that we will find a slamming worship band and talented musicians.

-Pray for the launch team, that it would grow both in number and that we would be able to keep our eyes focused 100% on Christ and the mission he has for us. Also pray for strength as launching a church is very draining

-Pray that we would be able to lead several people to Christ before our first preview service and then Baptize those people at our first preview!

-Pray for our DNA as a church, that we’d be able to create a culture of church health now in the early days.

-PRAISE: Pastor Zak found a rent house and is almost moved!

-PRAISE: The launch team has grown by a few people. Incredible!

Welcome to The PRAYER TEAM update for the new church plant in Schertz, TX. We are honored to have you praying for us and with us!

Below you will find the things we are praying for right now. As always, if you have a prayer request, please let us know and Pastor Zak will pray for you.

-PRAISE: We did our first outreach event on the 4th of July at a local parade and carnival by handing out cards and water along with having some good conversations. We were able to meet a LOT of people and even had a few schedule meetings with us about joining the launch team.

-Pray for the people we met at the 4th of July celebration, that they’d join the launch team and check out the church. And, most important of all, that ultimately they’d meet Christ!

-Pray for the atheist girl that Pastor Zak met on the 4th. She was very straightforward about her atheism but very excited about helping name the church!

-Please continue to pray for lots of seeds to be planted this summer that we can sow later on in the fall.

-PRAISE: Our meeting with the local business went even better than we were praying for! It looks like we’ll have a place to meet that will be BIG, SUPER CHEAP, and even hand us our own key! The location does have some challenges so please continue to pray that it would be the right spot and that we’d be able to work through those challenges.

-Pray for our launch team members who have to sell homes, find homes, move, find jobs, and go through some other big transitions. God is putting together an amazing team and they need your prayers. Right now, you can pray specifically for Ben & Lisa Branam, Seth & Shannon Pennington, Jeff & Monica McCracken, and Michael & Joe Seacrest.

-Pray for Pastor Zak as his family is away for 3 weeks. He is a big wimp without them.
