Hey PRAYER TEAM! We are honored to have you praying for us and with us!

A quick update: We will be doing prayer / praise updates two times per month now on the 10th and 25th of each month.

Below you will find the things we are praying for right now as well as things that we are giving God praise for. As always, if you have a prayer request, please let us know and Pastor Zak will pray for you.

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-Our Launch Team! The launch team is doing great. We are growing spiritually through serving together and getting to know each other better. God has blessed us with some amazing people!

-Contacts. It has been incredible to meet people in all kinds of unexpected places. Our team is learning to listen to the Spirit’s leading and because of that we are meeting people everywhere!

-Revolution Kids. One of our Launch Team Members, Kayla Setzer, is stepping up to lead out in Revolution Kids!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-The Launch Team. The Launch Team needs to grow in order for us to really have all things covered on Sundays! Pray that we meet more people and that we would be able to lead them to serving God in this unique way.

-LifeHouse Groups. Pray that our LifeHouse Group would grow and be an effective vehicle for reaching people as well as providing an environment where people can connect on a deeper level.

-Pastor Zak. Church planting is tough! Pray that Pastor Zak is able to focus on his family

-Worship Team / Worship Leader. We have met with several potential worship leaders and team / band members. Pray that we would find the right person with a whatever it takes attitude to serve in this capacity.

-Resources. We have begun our startup funds “Launch the Revolution” campaign. Please pray that we would be able to raise the funds needed to Launch Revolution Church! Check it out at http://www.launchtherevolution.com

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-Our First Preview Service! The first service went great even with the flooding in town. We had a total of 70 people in attendance and God did some awesome stuff!

-Decisions. At the service many people made decisions to take a next step in their life.

-New Families. We had lots of new people at the service that stuck around for the Tail Gate Party. We were able to connect with them in a big way!

-Super Baby Faith. On October 2nd we sent out a special prayer request for a sweet little girl that we love and believe in who has been fighting to get out of the hospital. You prayed for her and she’s making progress! Check in on her here.

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-Followup. This is a big week as we followup with each person that made a decision. Pray that people would be responsive as we continue to plug away and share the Gospel!

-LifeHouse Groups. Now that we had our first service we’ll be starting some small groups in homes across our area. We call them LifeHouse Groups. Please pray that we’d be able to start a few groups and that they would be healthy, vibrant, and growing! This is important because these first groups will lay down the DNA of our church in a big way.

-Strategy. Our area is responding well to our strategy but we are praying for even greater things! Please pray for us as we continue to crack the cultural code of the people we are serving.

-Recovery. The flood in our area caused a lot of damage. In particular, our partner church, Everyday Christian Fellowship right here in town experienced bad flooding in their building. Please pray for the businesses, families, and churches hurting in our area because of the flood.

-Ripe Fields. Please pray that the fields would be ripe and ready for harvesting and that we’d see tons of lives changed as we serve our city!

Revolution Church has some friends named Mike and Bridget Wildschuetz. They recently had their first child, Faith. She is a beautiful little girl.

Born on September 10, 2009, in Austin, Texas, Faith has severe bilateral microphthalmia, a congenital malformation resulting in minimal eye development.  Faith also has very small sinuses and is having difficulty getting enough oxygen on her own.

And, she needs our prayer badly.
