WOW! It has been an amazing month at Revolution Church! Be sure to read all of the updates below!

Below you will find the things we are praying for right now as well as things that we are giving God praise for. As always, if you have a prayer request, please let us know and Pastor Zak will pray for you.

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-LIVES CHANGED. Thanks for praying for life change! Over the last three weeks, we have Baptized two people and seen 11 people accept Christ! That’s what its all about…it never gets old! You are a part of every life changed!

Please also pray that we would be able to help people who are coming to us with lots of hurt, struggles, addictions and family problems.

-MICAH FISHER. We asked you to pray over and over for a worship leader and God answered! Micah Fisher is our new worship leader and he is doing an INCREDIBLE job. He’s been able to put together an amazing band, lead the church in worship and challenge people spiritually.

-Launch Day. Revolution launched large! On January 24th, the church officially launched. In fact, we’ve been so packed out each week since that we are moving to two service times beginning on February 21st. Keep praying for people to come and lives to be changed!

-Provision. So far through our Launch the Revolution startup campaign we have been able to raise 29% of our $45,000 goal (that’s over $13,000). God is GOOD! We are extremely grateful to God for everyone who has given!

-Office. Its a LONG story, but God provided some awesome office space for us. It was a true miracle of God…ask me about it sometime and I’ll share the story!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-Our new service times. Pray that we’d be able to effectively challenge people to step up and serve so that we can pull off two service times in a big way!

-Snaps. One challenge in a new church is helping people make connections and start to build relationships. We think of it kind of like playing with legos. Each person needs a place to “snap” in to other people and start connecting. Pray that we’d be able to create plenty of ways to snap!

-Revolution Kids. Pray that our kids ministry would be effective in getting kiddos pumped up about Jesus. Also, please pray that we’d find the right adult to lead out in this area…we are still on the hunt for a great kids leader!

-Stature and Wisdom. Pray that I (pastor Zak) would have stature and wisdom among God and the people in our community (Luke 2:52).

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-Cotton Candy. Thanks for praying for our sugar habit! We gave away 1,078 bags of cotton candy at a community Christmas festival last weekend. Through this event we were able to meet many new families and invite them to our next service as well as a special Christmas community event that we are doing.

-Salvation. We have had two people accept Christ in the last month! WAHOOOO!!!

-The Team. Our launch team continues to grow. It really is incredible how God has assembled this team. Each team member has a God story about how they got connected with us.

-Provision. So far through our Launch the Revolution startup campaign we have been able to raise 24% of our $45,000 goal (that’s almost $11,000). God is GOOD! We are extremely grateful to God for everyone who has given!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-Our 3rd and final Preview service. Pray that our last preview on this Sunday, December 13th touches people’s lives and that people meet Christ for the first time ever!

-Ugly Christmas Sweaters. We are having a community outreach / Christmas party on December 17th called the “Ugly Christmas Sweater Party.” Its going to be a blast but we want it to be more than that. The P.A.L.M.S. Puppet Team will be performing an evangelistic show. Please pray that we’d reach people and meet people through this event!

-Revolution Kids. Pray that our kids ministry would be effective in getting kiddos pumped up about Jesus. Also, please pray that we’d find the right adult to lead out in this area.

-Worship Team / Worship Leader. Please pray for the young man that we are currently talking to about leading our worship band. We won’t share his name just yet, but please pray for him.

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-The Launch Team. The team that God has built is incredible! Our Launch Team Members serve God faithfully and are growing spiritually because of it. There is nothing like helping launch a brand new church!

-Growth. Spiritual growth and numeric growth is happening. God is giving us plenty of chances to meet and serve people in our area. Some of the stories would be absolutely unexplainable…except for the fact that we have God on our side!

-Opportunities. We have been able to hook up with several different assistance programs and businesses to meet more needs in our area, especially over the holidays!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-FPU. We are kicking off a community Financial Peace University group at our local library in December. Pray that we can help people who are struggling financially by leading them through this class.

-Revolution Kids. Pray that our kids ministry would be effective in getting kiddos pumped up about Jesus. Also, please pray that we’d find the right adult to lead out in this area.

-Fundraising. We have kicked off our startup fundraising campaign. Please pray that we would be able to raise the funds needed to launch large on Jan. 24th. Check it out at http://www.launchtherevolution.com

-Cotton Candy. Back in September we gave out over 2,000 bags of free cotton candy at a large city event. It was so effective and well received that we are going to be doing it again on December 4th. Please pray that we get to meet a lot of people and share Christ with them through this event!

-Our 3rd and final Preview service. Pray that our last preview on December 13th is full of people and that God moves through our team in BIG ways!

-Worship Team / Worship Leader. We have met with several worship leaders and team / band members. Pray that we would find the right person with a whatever it takes attitude to serve in this capacity. This is one area proving to be a challenge for us. If you know any potential worship leaders, send them our way!

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-Lives Changed! We had our second preview service this past Sunday and had several people make decisions for Christ! Praise God! This is what its all about!

-Potential new team members. Many people at our service this past Sunday were interested in joining the team. We’ll be having a Launch Team Interest Meeting on Thursday night. Pray that people will show up and join the Revolution!

-Encouragement. It is absolutely astonishing how many people are loving on us, praying for us, and encouraging us right now. Thank you!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-The Branams. Ben and Lisa Branam left everything they knew and their security to launch Revolution Church and be on the team. Please pray for Ben as he starts his new business and for his ministry at Revolution.

-Our 3rd and final Preview service. Pray that our last preview on December 13th is full of people and that God moves through our team in BIG ways!

-Fundraising. We have kicked off our startup fundraising campaign. Please pray that we would be able to raise the funds needed to launch large on Jan. 24th. Check it out at http://www.launchtherevolution.com

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-Our Launch Team! The launch team is doing great. We are growing spiritually through serving together and getting to know each other better. God has blessed us with some amazing people!

-Contacts. It has been incredible to meet people in all kinds of unexpected places. Our team is learning to listen to the Spirit’s leading and because of that we are meeting people everywhere!

-Revolution Kids. One of our Launch Team Members, Kayla Setzer, is stepping up to lead out in Revolution Kids!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-The Launch Team. The Launch Team needs to grow in order for us to really have all things covered on Sundays! Pray that we meet more people and that we would be able to lead them to serving God in this unique way.

-LifeHouse Groups. Pray that our LifeHouse Group would grow and be an effective vehicle for reaching people as well as providing an environment where people can connect on a deeper level.

-Pastor Zak. Church planting is tough! Pray that Pastor Zak is able to focus on his family

-Worship Team / Worship Leader. We have met with several potential worship leaders and team / band members. Pray that we would find the right person with a whatever it takes attitude to serve in this capacity.
