Below you will find the things we are praying for right now as well as things that we are giving God praise for. As always, if you have a prayer request, please let us know and Pastor Zak will pray for you.

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-Our First Preview Service! The first service went great even with the flooding in town. We had a total of 70 people in attendance and God did some awesome stuff!

-Decisions. At the service many people made decisions to take a next step in their life.

-New Families. We had lots of new people at the service that stuck around for the Tail Gate Party. We were able to connect with them in a big way!

-Super Baby Faith. On October 2nd we sent out a special prayer request for a sweet little girl that we love and believe in who has been fighting to get out of the hospital. You prayed for her and she’s making progress! Check in on her here.

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-Followup. This is a big week as we followup with each person that made a decision. Pray that people would be responsive as we continue to plug away and share the Gospel!

-LifeHouse Groups. Now that we had our first service we’ll be starting some small groups in homes across our area. We call them LifeHouse Groups. Please pray that we’d be able to start a few groups and that they would be healthy, vibrant, and growing! This is important because these first groups will lay down the DNA of our church in a big way.

-Strategy. Our area is responding well to our strategy but we are praying for even greater things! Please pray for us as we continue to crack the cultural code of the people we are serving.

-Recovery. The flood in our area caused a lot of damage. In particular, our partner church, Everyday Christian Fellowship right here in town experienced bad flooding in their building. Please pray for the businesses, families, and churches hurting in our area because of the flood.

-Ripe Fields. Please pray that the fields would be ripe and ready for harvesting and that we’d see tons of lives changed as we serve our city!

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-Our new equipment! A couple of weeks ago, we found an opportunity to get a trailer full of equipment that we needed for super cheap. So we sent out an emergency prayer request asking you to pray your guts out! I guess everyone was praying because we were able to purchase the equipment! GO GOD!

-Connections. We are making some incredible connections around town and planting a lot of seeds in people’s lives.

-New Families. We have gained some new families on the Launch Team, which is huge. Please continue to pray for our Launch Team to grow.

-Website. Our new website is finally up! Praising God for that one! The web is the new front door for church!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-Schertz Fest. This is a big weekend for us! We will be giving away free cotton candy to over 7,000 people on Friday and Saturday at a big music festival called “Schertz Fest” this weekend. Pray that we’d get to meet a LOT of people!

-Preview. Our first preview service is in 5 days. This is our biggest prayer need! Please pray that we’d see something happen on our first Sunday ever that is so unexplainable that only God can get the credit!

-TailGate Party. After church this first Sunday, we’ll be having a TailGate party. Please pray that people will stick around a while, have some fun, and meet some ofther people!

-A hectic week. As you can tell, its a hectic week for Revolution Church. Please pray that we’d be able to have that “Whatever it Takes!” attitude like Jesus did.

-Followup. Please pray that we’d be able to followup with people in an effective way

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-INCREDIBLE Partner Churches. Our partner churches are the best around. They support us, love on us, pray for us and care for us like no other. Thanks Pards!

-Affirmation. We have several pastors and friends loving on us and encouraging us. Planting a new church is TOUGH WORK. Thanks for affirming us everyone!

-An Un-named Pastor Friend. We won’t want me to share who he is, but this guy has committed to fasting and praying for us EVERY SINGLE FRIDAY until we launch Revolution on Jan. 24th. THAT is something to PRAISE GOD FOR. WOW!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-Equipment. We are missing many many items that we need to pull off our first preview service in a big way. Time to get practical prayer team. If you know anyone or another church with some kids items, sound items, pipe and drape or other equipment that we could potentially buy, borrow, or have please let us know. We especially need a trailer!

-Preview. Our first preview service is exactly one week away. We have a TON to do!

-The Launch Team. We believe that God has called us to start a spiritual revolution by launching large! Please pray that our launch team continues to grow both numerically and spiritually.

-Guidance. We have some key, strategic decisions to make over the next two weeks. This is a crucial time! Pray for us as we make these decisions.

-New Families. Please pray specifically that we would be able to be the “welcome team” for our entire community. When families move into town, we want to be first on the scene to serve them.

-Wisdom. Pray that we would find the best inroads to our community. We want to serve and reach out to people in the most simple and effective ways.

-The Launch Team. The launch team is growing!

-Connections. This past weekend we got face to face with 125 families in our immediate area. Incredible!

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-Ricky & Kallie Garzon. Ricky and Kallie are an incredible couple that is moving their family from Amarillo to be a part of Revolution Church. We are praying for them as they go through major transitions and as they make the move.

-Provision. Pastor Zak is working on raising funds. It is expensive to plant a church! Please pray that we would reach our goal of $50,000 as he hits the “campaign trail.”

-Partners. Please pray for our partner churches. There are too many to list, but each of our partner churches have their own needs and yet, they continue to pour into us.  Pastor Zak has personally promised to several of our partner churches that our prayer team is on top of it!

-Visibility. We need lots of opportunities to become known in the community. Pray that we’d find these opportunities. Also, pray for us as we work out issues that we have run into with our website company. We need to get the permanent site up asap!

PRAISE GOD FOR…

-Our Church Name. As many of you know, we utilized http://www.namethischurch.com to see what our community thought the church should be named. After close to 400 surveys we have chosen the name Revolution Church. We are ready to see a spiritual revolution in the Schertz area!

-Our Launch team- God is putting together an incredible launch team! We are meeting people left and right.

PLEASE PRAY FOR…

-A Worship Band. Please pray that we would make the right decisions regarding a worship leader / band. We are currently chatting with a couple of young men. Please pray for them, that God would show them very clearly if He wants them to be a part of Revolution Church.

-More Prayer Team Members! Pray that this prayer team would grow by about another 80 people. And don’t just pray…ask! If you know someone who should be praying for Revolution Church with us, please share http://www.theprayerteam.com with them and get them on board!

-Provision. Pastor Zak is working on raising funds to buy equipment that we will need badly starting on October 4th. Please pray for him as he does this.

-The Branams. Please pray for Ben, Lisa, and Bradley Branam as they move in the next couple of weeks to the area. They are renting out their home in Kyle to move to Schertz and be a major part of Revolution Church. In additon, please continue to pray that our launch team will grow to over 40 adults by our launch date, January 24th.

-Ben’s Business. Ben will be starting a new business here in town as well. Please pray for his business…that he would find lots of clients very quickly!
